With the next set of Premier League fixtures around the corner, we are back with 3 Hidden Gems for Gameweek 3 that will give you a much needed edge over your FPL rivals. This time we bring to you a Keeper, a Midfielder & a Forward in form of Hidden Gems who have been largely ignored by FPL managers worldwide.
Kepa Arrizabalaga (v/s Newcastle) (A)
Chelsea’s new No.1 was bought in from Athletic Bilbao to replace World Cup Golden Glove winner Thibaut Courtois who moved to Real Madrid in the Summer transfer window. Kepa made his Premier League debut against Huddersfield and kept a clean sheet for the Blues. The young Spanish goalkeeper just has an ownership of 3.8% and with his price tag of £5.5m, Kepa is the only guaranteed starter and offers a cheap way into the Chelsea defence.
Ryan Fraser (v/s Everton) (H)
Who doesn’t love a bargain?
— Fantasy Premier League (@OfficialFPL) August 22, 2018
The Bournemouth winger has enjoyed a great start to the new Premier League campaign, scoring once and also providing an assist in the opening two Gameweeks. Fraser is also on set piece duty for the Cherries which add to his value of being priced at just £5.5m. Only 4 midfielders have scored more points than Fraser in the gameweeks that have passed by. The winger is just in 4.2% squads which ensure that he can be a differential pick for the week with the Poppies hosting Everton this Saturday.
Danny Ings (v/s Leicester) (H)
The on loan striker from Liverpool made his first start for the Saints in a 2-1 loss to Everton and impressed in his first start for the club by scoring a goal against the Toffees. After playing only 124 minutes in a Southampton shirt, Ings has taken 9 shots (8 in the penalty area) with a shot every 14 minutes. Ings is a proven goalscorer & is owned by just 3.8% of FPL Managers and with the form he is in, he can surely be a FPL asset with Southampton hosting Leicester City.
