Probable XI:

England: Pickford, Maguire, Stones, Walker, Trippier, Rose; Henderson, Loftus-Cheek, Lingard; Sterling, Kane

Sweden: Olsen; Krafth, Lindelof, Granqvist, Augustinsson; Claesson, Larsson, Ekdal, Forsberg; Toinoven, Berg

England: Jamie Vardy is a doubt for the match against Sweden as he required injections against Colombia. This is the reason why he did not step up in the penalty shootout against Los Cafeteros. Young is also an injury concern ahead of the Quarter-Final with Danny Rose likely to replace him in England’s starting XI. Loftus-Cheek might start of Dele Alli with the latter struggling with form and fitness.

Sweden: Seb Larsson is expected to play against England as Albin Ekdal might miss the match due to a foot injury. Mikael Lustig is suspended for the game with Emil Krafth likely to replace him as the Swedish right back.

Harry Kane – The England striker has been on fire and has already scored 6 goals in the tournament. He is England’s likeliest goal scorer given that he’s in red-hot form at the moment.

Emil Forsberg – Sweden’s playmaker proved his worth after scoring the winner against Switzerland in the previous round. His creativity from midfield and his ability to unlock defences will be critical if Sweden are to overcome  England in the Quarter-Final.

Kieran Trippier – The energetic wingback is on set piece duty for the Three Lions & can always chip in with an assist or a goal. There’s a high possibility that England might keep a clean sheet against Sweden, so Trippier can become a handy acquisition for his fantasy owners.
