WWE SmackDown Live took place in the Royal Farms Arena, Baltimore, Maryland. The show started with Paige, as she came out to address the different results from the Backlash pay-per-view. She talked about Daniel Bryan’s return and said that she would address the issue of the WWE Championship Match between Nakamura and AJ Styles.
She announced once again that there would be two Money in the Bank Ladder matches at the pay-per-view.
In this article, we will provide highlights for each segment and rate them between 0 and 5.
Jeff Hardy [c] vs The Miz [Money in the Bank Qualifying Match]: 4.25
The match between Jeff Hardy and Miz saw a combination of slow and high flying offence. While the Miz looked to slow things down and ground Hardy, Jeff took advantage of the pace to hit Miz with sudden high flying moves.
He took Miz out with a Crossbody on the outside. Hardy hit Miz with the Whisper in the Wind for a near fall. The Miz tried to hit Hardy with a Superplex but he blocked it and hit the Sunset Flip Powerbomb from the top rope.
Jeff hit Miz with the Twist of Fate again and went for and executed the Swanton Bomb. It looked like it was all over, but Miz was able to reverse and collect the pinfall. He qualified for the Money in the Bank Ladder Match.

Charlotte vs Peyton Royce [Money in the Bank Qualifying Match]: 3.75
Charlotte looked to redeem her loss at Backlash by qualifying for the Money in the Bank Ladder Match. She had her work cut out for her, with her bout against Peyton Royce. The weakness in her knee played a big part in the match, while Peyton was able to kick out of the Spear as well as the Moonsault.
The match ended the moment Charlotte was able to lock in the Figure Eight Leglock.

Cesaro tried to pick up the win with a roll-up and the help of the ropes, but Kofi knocked his legs off.
Kofi and Big E took out Sheamus on the outside, but Woods was knocked out with an Upper Cut when Woods jumped off the top rope.
Mandy Rose vs Becky Lynch: 2
Mandy Rose looked to gain some sort of momentum after she got a new entrance and the end of Absolution. She was able to catch Lynch and roll her up to pick up the win.
Even with @SonyaDevilleWWE barred from ringside, the show must go on for @WWE_MandyRose as she battles @BeckyLynchWWE on #SDLive! https://t.co/0j9u7gtNJb
Daniel Bryan vs Rusev [Money in the Bank Qualifying Match]: 4
After his win against Big Cass at Backlash, Bryan suffered a beatdown at the hands of his opponents. That left a mark on Bryan, and during his Money in the Bank qualifying match against Rusev, that came into play.
Bryan hit Rusev with Running Dropkicks and was able to work on Rusev’s wrist. Rusev was unable to lock in the Accolade. Bryan hit Rusev with a Missile Dropkick and almost got him with the Running Knee. Bryan suffered his first loss as Rusev reversed the Running knee with a Machka Kick for the win.
