WrestleMania 34 took place at New Orleans, with three matches taking place on the pre-show. The Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal was the first match in WrestleMania and was won by Matt Hardy after Bray Wyatt returned to help him. The next preshow match was an emotional Cruiserweight Title Match, which Cedric Alexander won, and immediately hugged Ali. The Women’s Battle Royal was won by Naomi, after eliminating Bayley right at the end.
In this article, we will rate each segment from the main show between +5 and -5.
Seth Rollins vs The Miz [c] vs Finn Balor [Intercontinental Title Match]: +4
The match was highflying from the very first moment, with chain wrestling taking place, and Seth hitting both of them with Suicide Dives, while Finn hit them with an over the top rope Plancha.
Miz locked in the Figure Four Leglock on Balor but was almost pinned after Rollins hit him with a Frog Splash. Balor avoided the Buckle Bomb and hit Seth with the Slingblade. Rollins hit the Buckle Bomb on the Miz, and then hit Balor with a Superplex and Falcon Arrow. Miz hit Seth with a Skull Crushing Finale, but was unable to keep him down.

Finn broke up a pin by hitting Miz with a Coup de Grace and then hit him with a Slingblade and lined him up and hit a Coup de Grace. Rollins came in and hit Miz with a Curb Stomp. He hit another one on the Miz and won the Intercontinental Title.
Charlotte vs Asuka [SmackDown Women’s Title Match: +4
Charlotte and Asuka faced each other in a long and good match. Charlotte and Asuka engaged in chain wrestling and continued to use submission moves. Asuka hit Charlotte with a suplex onto the outside of the ring.
The two continued to chain wrestle and it looked like Asuka was going to win when she put Charlotte in the Asuka Lock. Charlotte locked in her Figure Eight Leglock and ended the Streak in a shocking conclusion.

Bobby Roode vs Randy Orton vs Rusev vs Jinder Mahal [United States Title Match]: +2
The match itself was amazing, with a number of RKO’s from Randy Orton. The match went on for the perfect amount of time. But the ending of the match was disappointing. It looked like Randy was about to win, but instead, it was Jinder who pulled out the victory after a sudden Khallas to Rusev.
Triple H and Stephanie McMahon vs Ronda Rousey and Kurt Angle: +4
Kurt and Triple H started the match, and Triple H and Kurt tried to isolate him. Ronda wanted to get in more than anything. Triple H almost punched Stephanie.
Stephanie dragged Rousey off the apron, but Kurt got the tag in. She beat up Stephanie legitimately, but the arm bar was blocked and Stephanie put her thumb in the eye. Ronda his a Samoan Drop on Stephanie. Triple H pulled her out, but then she got up again and hit Triple H with stiff punches. Triple H was saved from a Samoan Drop by Stephanie who was then taken out by Ronda.

Triple H and Kurt squared off and Kurt hit Triple H with three German Suplexes. He then reversed the Pedigree attempt and hit Triple H with the Angle Slam. Kurt locked in the Ankle Lock on Stephanie and was interrupted by Triple H who hit him with a Pedigree. Ronda interrupted the count and reversed Triple H’s powerbomb with a Hurricanrana and locked in the armbar. Stephanie came from behind and locked in the rear-naked choke. Ronda locked in the armbar on Stephanie and then Kurt locked in the Ankle Lock on Triple H. The submission was broken with Triple H throwing Angle onto Rousey.
Stephanie and Triple H tried to hit a double Pedigree, but Kurt threw Triple H out of the ring. Rousey tried again for the Armbar and locked it in for the win.
The New Day vs The Usos vs The Bludgeon Brothers [WWE SmackDown Tag Team Title Match]: +3
The Bludgeon Brothers dominated from the beginning of the match and they threw the Usos and the New Day around. They beat up Xavier Woods even though he was not in the match.
The match was all over the place and the way Rowan and Harper directed the match amazing. There was hard-hitting offence, and The Bludgeon Brothers ended it with a Powerbomb on Kofi from the top rope to win the match.

The Undertaker vs John Cena: +5
John Cena came out to wrestle and for a while, it looked like the Undertaker was not going to come out. Elias came out and was destroyed by Cena. The Undertaker came out after that.
The Dead Man came to WrestleMania with a vengeance. The two wrestled in a match that no one expected. The Undertaker took down Cena, hit him with the Old School and the Sidewalk Slam followed by the Legdrop. He was about to be hit with the Five Knuckle Shuffle, but Undertaker sat up and he fell back. Undertaker hit Cena with the Chokeslam and then followed it up with the Tombstone Piledriver.
He pinned John Cena and won the match looking fitter and better than he has in over eight years now.

Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan vs Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn: +4
Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn attacked Bryan and Shane from behind and hit Daniel Bryan with a Powerbomb on the apron.
Shane started the fight by himself and he started to try and hold off Owens and Zayn. They focused their attacks on Shane’s stomach.
Sami lined up a Helluva kick but missed it and was taken out by Shane. Shane hit Zayn with a coast to coast. Kevin hit Shane with a Frog Splash. The pin was interrupted by Bryan.
Shane was able to tag Bryan in. Bryan started to punch Zayn and hit him with a clothesline and hit Owens with a sliding dropkick. He hit Zayn with a Dropkick from the top rope. Owens came in and was hit with a Backdrop. Bryan hit Kevin and Sami with dual corner dropkicks. He followed it up by hitting Zayn with a Hurricanra.
Sami managed to hit a Helluva kick, but Bryan kicked out. Owens superkicked Shane out of the ring. Bryan was caught Bryan with a popup powerbomb, but Bryan kicked out. Bryan hit Zayn with chops and took him out with the Yes Kicks. He lined him up and hit a supremely fast knee followed by the Yes Lock to win the match.
Nia Jax vs Alexa Bliss [Raw Women’s Match]: +3
Alexa targeted the knee of Nia, and there seemed to be no way for Jax to make a comeback. However, Alexa underestimated her and Jax was able to slam her and throw her around the ring.
Nia took out Alexa throwing her against the turnbuckle. She hit Nia with a throwdown slam. She climbed to the second rope and hit a huge Samoan Drop to win the match.
She cried as she picked up the Raw Women’s Championship after beating her former friend.
AJ Styles vs Shinsuke Nakamura [WWE Championship Match]: +4
AJ and Shinsuke had an amazing match. The match was slow to begin with and then went on to pick up pace slowly but surely. The two had a devastating match with huge moves.
AJ and Nakamura exchanged Calf Crushers and the Triangle Choke. The math went on to end with Styles finally being able to hit the Styles Crush after the Phenomenal Forearm and a failed 450 Splash.
After the match was over Nakamura was about to present the Championship to AJ. He knelt down and then the turn came out of left field, hitting AJ with a low blow. He continued to beat up AJ and hit him with a Kinshasa.

The Bar vs Braun Strowman and Nikolas [WWE Raw Men’s Tag Team Title Match]: +3
The Bar were flummoxed as Braun chose a child to be his partner from the crowd. Braun was enough alone to defeat the Bar, manhandling them and hitting them with Powerslams for the win.
Just like that Braun Strowman and Nicholas became the new Tag Team Champions.
Brock Lesnar vs Roman Reigns [Universal Championship Match]: +4
Brock Lesnar hit three German Suplexes on Reigns. Reigns came back with three Superman Punches. He hit him with a clothesline and sent him to the outside.
Lesnar continued to punish Roman and hit him with Suplexes. He hit him with Belly to Belly Suplexes. Lesnar chucked Reigns at the barricade breaking it, and then picked him up. Reigns reversed Brock and threw Brock into the ringpost. Reigns slammed Lesnar onto the commentary table.
Reigns hit Lesnar with a Superman punch and he hit him with two Spears, but Lesnar was still able to kick out. Brock Lesnar hit Reigns with a huge knee across the face with a huge Jumping Knee.
The wrestling year has come and gone, and Brock Lesnar is still your Universal Champion. #WrestleMania
Lesnar hit Reigns with two F5’s but he was still able to kick out. He hit him with a third F5, Reigns kicking out when no one could believe it. Lesnar hit another F5 on the outside commentary table. Lesnar followed this up with another German Suplex and looked down as Reigns got up once again. He hit a fifth F5 only for Reigns to kick out.
Brock was hit with another Spear but he kicked out and busted open Reigns. Reigns bled a lot and then was hit with an F5 to lose the match.
The show was possibly the best WrestleMania of all time. It got a solid rating of +40 out of +55.
