Manchester United launches £62 million bid for PSG defender

According to The Sun, Manchester United have launched a £62 million bid for PSG’s Marquinhos despite getting Victor Lindelof on board. Manchester United await PSG’s reply to the offer with the 23-year-old looked upon as one of the top defenders across Europe.

Manchester City confident of signing Arsenal man

Manchester City’s representatives are increasingly growing confident of signing Alexis Sanchez for £50 million, reports The Sun. The Chilean just has one year left on his Arsenal contract and is yet to sign extension, Sanchez bagged 30 goals last season and that has caught the eyes of several clubs including City’s rivals Chelsea and German giants Bayern Munich.

Barcelona reject United’s £31 million bid for Portuguese flop

According to The Sun, Manchester United have had a £31 million bid rejected by Barcelona for Andre Gomes, despite the Portuguese international failing to perform last season. Barcelona view Andre Gomes as a long term replacement for Andres Iniesta but he is yet to prove himself with new Barcelona chief Ernesto Valverde said to be a fan of the player and is reluctant to let him go.

Chelsea are closing in on a £100 million double swap for Juventus duo Leonardo Bonucci and Alex Sandro, reports The Sun. Bonucci is seen as the player to fill the gap left by John Terry, with Kurt Zouma said to depart on loan.

 

Dortmund open to listen to offers for Gabon international

Borussia Dortmund have set an asking price of £63 million for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang stating the club will listen to offers if it shows “its appreciation” for the forward in “a financial way” reports The Independant. This comes after Liverpool bid for the player only the club to slap a £63 million price tag to him. Jurgen Klopp has previously worked with Gabon international and is keen to add him to his Liverpool side next season as he looks to bolster his squad.

 

Arsenal have identified Jack Butland  as Petr Cech’s successor

According to the Daily Star, Jack Butland of Stoke City has been identified as long term successor to Petr Cech who has two years left on his contract since signing from Chelsea. Petr Cech is heading into the twilight of his career and Arsenal are looking at options to succeed the Czech international with primary target Jordan Pickford signing for Everton for £30 million.
