The Portuguese forward was in excellent form as Los Blancos wrapped up their 12th European trophy. Ronaldo’s goal scoring abilities has seen him break a number of records on Saturday night at Cardiff that have stood the test of time.

2 – He scored a brace in Cardiff and almost became the first player to score a hat-trick in a Champions League Final.

600 – His second goal against the Italian Champions was the 600th of his glittering footballing career.

3 – The Portuguese captain has become the first player in the tournament’s history to score in three different Champions league finals.

6 – Ronaldo’s brace saw him become the only player to be the top scorer in Champions League for six seasons. He bagged the award this season with 12 goals with Messi (11) coming second.

4 – This is the fourth Champions League crown for Ronaldo, who becomes only the 20th player in the history to lift four or more Champions League trophy.
