Mumbai Indians have been the best team in the tournament so far. But, they haven’t had a good game against Pune yet. They have faced Steven Smith and his men thrice and have been defeated on all three occasions. On the night of the final, they will be hoping for a turnaround of events to become the first team to be crowned Champions thrice. They played an impressive match against KKR on Friday evening to win the game by 6 wickets and are most likely to play the same combination on Sunday as well.

With the return of CSK and RR for the upcoming seasons, this will be the last time RPS will feature in the IPL. Steven Smith and his team will be looking for a win and finish on the highest note possible! They have played quality cricket in the tournament with youngsters like Rahul Tripathi and Jaydev Unadkat performing at crucial situations. MS Dhoni, like he has done on innumerable instances, has played some important innings and is going to appear in his 7th IPL final. The stats between RPS and MI are on RPS’s side and they will be hoping to capitalise on the same.
Fantasy Pick Batsman – Steven Smith
Leading from the front, Steven Smith has set an example for his team with the bat by being their top run scorer in the tournament. He has amassed 421 runs in 14 innings at an average of above 38. He will be their most important player in the lineup. Smith, known for his good performances on the big stages, will be the horse to bet on.
Fantasy Pick Bowler – Jasprit Bumrah
— Jasprit bumrah (@Jaspritbumrah93) May 19, 2017
The young Indian pacer is everything a captain asks for. He can bowl fast, he can bowl slow and he can bowl the perfect yorker! He has the rare ability to bowl dot balls even in the most difficult of situations. Bumrah has 18 wickets in 15 games at an economy of just 7.4. The 24 deliveries Bumrah will bowl on Sunday can turn out to be match defining!
Fantasy Pick All-Rounder – Krunal Pandya
The older of the Pandya brothers has become an irreplaceable asset in the Mumbai Indians squad. He played an important innings in the Qualifier 2 against KKR when the top order failed miserably. He also held the innings together along with Keiron Pollard against RCB in the initial stages of the tournament. To go with that, he has also scalped 12 wickets in as many matches at a miserly economy of 7.5. He can be the trump card for Mumbai in the game.
