Continuing the list of WWE and celebrity associations, we take a look at the remaining ones to have graced the 4 sided ring.
#5 – Shaqquile O’Neal
Shaq has been associated with the WWE on multiple occasions but his most memorable was when he was introduced by Jerry “The king” Lawler as the special guest host of RAW. O’Neal first had a war of words by then undisputed champion Chris Jericho.
Then he was confronted by none other than the world’s largest athlete The Big Show. After trash talking for a bit Shaq announced that Jericho and Big show would be going against the Prime time and he would be special referee.
Big Show and O’Neal ended up trying to choke each other out with a little help from prime time Shaq eventually managed to knock Big show out of the ring.
Its so cool that Shaq was on Monday Night Raw and is also playing for THE Cleveland…..CAVALIERS!!!!!!!
#4 – Mike Tyson
The baddest man on the planet and WWE Raw during the attitude era, it’s a match made in heaven. Add to that an interference by Stone cold Steve Austin and you got the recipe for ultimate promotional success.
The segment starts with Vince McMahon introducing Iron Mike into the ring and conducting an on-stage interview and ends with 20 people brawling each other trying to keep the two powerhouses apart.

#3 – Donald Trump
Yes it’s true, the President of the United States of America has a rich history of association with the WWE. It all started with Wrestlemania 4 being held in the Trump Plaza. And since then, Trump has gone on to become a part of WWE’S hall of fame. His most memorable involvement is a segment at Wrestlemania 23 termed as the battle of the billionaires. Both the executives had to choose a fighter that will represent them and the man whose fighter loses will shave his head bald in front of the whole crowd.
Trump chose Bobby Lashley whereas McMahon chose Umaga. Stone Cold Steve Austin as the special referee was the ultimate cherry on this cake. In the course of match trump slammed McMahon to the ground and pounded him.
Bobby Lashley went on to defeat Umaga and Vince McMahon faced absolute embarrassment as he was shaved bald in front of the whole crowd on international television.
#2 – Floyd Mayweather
If there are huge stacks of money offered for an exhibition fight assume Floyd “Money” Mayweather to be there. This match up almost challenged the intelligence of the viewers with a 500 pound wrestling giant going at it with a 150 pound boxer.
But one thing WWE knows how to do brilliantly is to create entertainment spectacles and that’s what it exactly did. Both fighters faced each other in a No disqualification match and as after a while of playing cat and mouse Mayweather knocked Big Show out with a pair of brass knuckles. You weren’t thinking Floyd Mayweather was going to lose his undefeated streak in a wrestling ring, were you?

#1 – Muhammad Ali
it doesn’t get any bigger than this. Wrestlemania I was held at the iconic Madison square Garden and the main event was Hulk Hogan and Mr. T against “Rowdy” Roddy Piper and “Mr. Wonderful” Paul Orndorff and with boxing legend Muhammad Ali as the guest referee.
Ali by then inscribed his name into boxing folklore and he being a part of the main event at the first Wrestlemania to be ever held was the finest pieces of promotion done by Vince McMahon. Midway through the match all the contenders started brawling and Muhammad Ali stepped in and punched piper to restore order gathering huge cheers from the crowd.
As a guest referee in the main event of WrestleMania I, “The Greatest” Muhammad Ali cannot help but get caught up in the action as the match kicks into high gear.
