The Indian team is scheduled to tour the Caribbean Islands in the last week of June to play limited overs cricket matches against West Indies. In a media release by BCCI on Tuesday (May 16th), it was confirmed that the team will tour to play 5 ODIs and a lone Twenty20 International on the tour.
The tour will start on 23rd June with the ODI series and the first and second ODI would be played at the Queen’s Park Oval in Port of Spain. The teams will then travel to Antigua where the 3rd and 4th One-Day Internationals will be hosted by the Sir Viv Richards Stadium. The final match of the series is on July 6th and the lone T20 is on July 9th and will be played at the Sabina Park in Kingston, Jamaica.
With the Champions Trophy scheduled to end on 18th June, it is most likely that the team will travel back home after the series in the Caribbean Islands.
Just In: India will play 5 ODIs and one T20I against West Indies. ODIs to be played from 23rd June to 6th July. T20I will be on 9th July.
