Team News – Mumbai Indians
Mumbai will be playing host to the game as they finished in top 4 last season. Krunal Pandya and Ambati Rayudu coming out of injury will come as a major relief for the men in blue. Rayudu struck a fine half-century in the last league game for Mumbai, showing that his form with the bat hasn’t waned with his absence from the game. Rohit Sharma is expected to score big in the third Maharashtra Derby of the season.
Team News – Rising Pune Supergiant
RPS were dealt a major blow as Ben Stokes flew back to England for national duty. A vital cog in the side, Stokes has been phenomenal with both bat and the ball for Pune. His presence will be duly missed. A lot will now be dependent on the likes of Rajat Bhatia, Lockie Ferguson and Dan Christian as all-rounders in the side. Along with Stokes, Faf du Plessis and Imran Tahir have also flown back home. Steven Smith will have to form a whole new combination for the all-important match.
Fantasy Preview Batsman – Manoj Tiwary
Coming lower down the order, Manoj Tiwary has been playing a very important role in the RPS batting lineup in the second half of the league. He has been consistent in raising the ante for them and has helped them get out of crunch situations. He has been a valuable player earning more than 400 points for his fantasy owners.
Fantasy Preview Bowler – Jasprit Bumrah
The Indian youngster has impressed everyone yet again this season. With 15 wickets in 13 games, Bumrah has been instrumental in controlling the run flow of the opposition. He has an excellent economy of 7.22, something Bumrah would hoping to replicate in the game against RPS. His unplayable deliveries in the Super Over against the Gujarat Lions got Mumbai home, making him the MVP of the team. Bumrah has earned as much 356 FYS Fantasy Points for his team.
Fantasy Preview All-Rounder – Hardik Pandya
The younger of the Pandya brothers has been phenomenal yet again for the Mumbai Indians this season. Runs with the bat, wickets with the balls and a live wire on the field, Hardik is the all-rounder in every sense of the word! He has a mammoth 519 FYS Fantasy points to his name.
