Rising Pune Supergiant will now have to win their last game to ensure their play-offs spot as they lost their second last league game to Delhi Daredevils tonight. With SRH and KXIP in strong contention, Pune will have to seal the game against Punjab to keep their position in the play-offs.

Nair finally struck form for Delhi as he scored a magnificent half century after losing Shreyas Iyer and Sanju Samson very cheaply. His 64 came off 45 balls and consisted of 9 fours. He formed a crucial partnership of 74 with Rishab Pant for the third wicket to help Delhi recover from the early wickets.
Leading his team from the front, veteran Zaheer Khan got rid of Ajinkya Rahane off the very first ball of the chase for RPS. He also dismissed youngster Rahul Tripathi to leave Pune on the backfoot. Zaheer finished with figures of 2/25 in 4 overs, playing an important role in the win.

Tiwary was the lone warrior for RPS this evening as fought till the very last ball before getting bowled off Pat Cummins. With 6 fours and 3 sixes, Tiwary scored 64 off 45 balls to keep RPS alive in the game.
After his scintillating innings against GL a few night ago, Iyer was expected to score tonight as well. But he failed to keep up to the expectations as he was sent off by Jaydev Unadkat for just 3 runs off 4 balls to have Delhi tottering at 9 for 2.
With his credibility of being a finisher, Dhoni was expected take RPS to the finish line as they needed a little over 40 in under 5 overs when he came to the crease to join Manoj Tiwary. But, he failed as he was run out for 5, thanks to a fascinating throw at the stumps by Mohammed Shami!
The Aussie all-rounder had a bad day at the office. He was expensive with the ball, giving away 18 runs in just 2 overs. In the chase, he lasted for just a run-a-ball 3 before getting caught LBW off Mohammed Shami.
