The two teams other than Royal Challengers Bangalore which are out of the race of the Play Offs i.e. Gujarat Lions and Delhi Daredevils will be up against each other and will be playing for pride at the Green Park in Kanpur in what is now the last leg of the league matches of the Indian Premier League 2017.

Gujarat Lions gave an impressive performance in their last match against the Kings XI Punjab in which they chased a target of 190 with ease as Hashim Amla’s second century of the season went in vain. Dwayne Smith came back to form and laid the foundation for Gujarat’s victory as he smashed 74 off just 39 balls. Gujarat Lions have won 4 matches out of the 12 they have played till now and would be hoping to win their remaining matches of the season.
Delhi Daredevils had a contrasting last match as they were handed a shambolic and a humiliating defeat by the Mumbai Indians. Mumbai defeated them by a massive margin of 146 runs. Delhi’s batting collapsed as they were all out for 66 runs and failed to chase a target of 213. Only 3 Delhi batsmen managed to score double digits as Karun Nair was the highest scorer with 21 runs. Delhi have won 4 matches out of the 11 they have played so far.
Both the teams played their last match 6 days ago, where Rishab Pant and Sanju Samson blew the Lions away as Delhi chased a target of 209 with 15 balls to spare.
Top Fantasy Picks
TOP BATSMAN: Suresh Raina
The Gujarat skipper has been in tremendous form this season as he has scored runs at will. He has scored 434 runs in 12 matches at an average of 48.22 and a strike rate of 146.13. He has been consistent throughout the season. Raina should be the pick of the batsman for your fantasy team. He has been one of the most impactful players in all of the seasons of the IPL till now.
TOP BOWLER: Pat Cummins
The Aussie pacer is the leading wicket taker for Delhi Daredevils with 11 wickets in 9 matches. He has been effective for Delhi with his pace and control over line and length. With Morris not being included in the squad, he plays an important role to lead the Delhi’s pace attack while chipping away with wickets. He has also been good with the bat, providing important contributions down the order.
TOP ALL ROUNDER: Corey Anderson
The Kiwi all rounder has had an important role in the absence of Chris Morris to contribute with his all round game. He has been good with the bat and the ball whenever given the opportunity and also fielded well. The blinder he took against the Gujarat Lions to dismiss Dinesh Karthik is still fresh in our minds.

TOP PUNT PLAYER: Rishab Pant
Delhi’s Wicket keeper batsman failed to perform in the last match as all of the batting order collapsed against the Mumbai Indians. However, not long back, he gave one hell of a performance against the Gujarat Lions where he blasted 97 off 43 balls. He will be the player to watch out for as Delhi again are playing Gujarat in this match.
