Dhawan and Sharma in action for India

Monday night became the celebration time for the team India openers- Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan, who were both named in the 15-man Champions Trophy squad which was announced earlier in the day by BCCI. Though there was a lot of criticism over the choice of openers and especially for picking Dhawan over Gambhir, but the selectors played it safe and went ahead with most successful opening pair in recent times for India. The team India call-up instilled much needed self-belief in the duo as they both registered class fifties.
