The Sunrisers’ fortress was finally breached by Rising Pune Supergiant (RPS) on Saturday evening as they handed SRH a 12-run defeat to complete their first ever successful defence of a sub-150 target. SRH now welcome the table toppers, Mumbai Indians (MI) who are coming after registering the biggest ever victory in IPL in terms of runs when they defeated Delhi by a record margin of 146 runs. With their win over DD, Mumbai became the first team to qualify for the play-offs while SRH are still stuck at 13 points from 12 games.
Form Guide (last 5 matches with most recent first)
MI: W W W L W
SRH: L L W W N
The defending champions are in a confused state about what went wrong in their last two encounters in which they were drubbed by DD and RPS. In the first of the two, their bowlers failed to defend 185 and in the second one their batsmen failed to hunt 148 down. They are now face-to-face with a much stronger opponent in Mumbai. Ashish Nehra didn’t bowl his quota of four overs in the last match which makes it interesting to see if he is replaced by Siraj or not. Rest of the combination needs to believe in themselves and fire as a unit.
While SRH have their own problems to worry about, everything is falling in place for the MI camp. They showed in the last match what an envious bench strength they have with Simmons playing just the first game this season and blowing Delhi out of proportions with a blistering fifty. Pollard, too, used his promotion up the order to a great advantage and registered a quick fire fifty to propel MI past 200. Their bowlers were clinical too, as they bowled Delhi out inside 14 overs.
Let’s have a look at some top fantasy picks for the game-

The orange cap holder SRH captain just became the first batsman in IPL history to score more than five hundred runs in four consecutive IPL seasons. He must be disappointed over his team’s loss against Pune after he provided an excellent platform with his 40-run inning. He has accumulated 529 runs so far from 11 matches this season.
FYS Fantasy points- 495
The purple cap holder had an off outing against Pune in the game where he was taken to the cleaners by a determined MSD but his skills with the ball are well known. He will be very eager to get back amongst wickets considering that the other bowlers are closing in on him for the purple cap race. His current wicket tally stands at 21 scalps from 11 games.
FYS Fantasy Points- 340
With clouds of uncertainty hovering over the availability of Krunal Pandya, the younger Pandya assumes a greater importance. Hardik has thrived in all the roles he has been asked to play this season. He has played finishing roles to perfection, bowled with great control and has always been a great fielder. He is our top all-rounder pick for the game.
Top Punt Player
FYS Fantasy Points- 284
The youngster picked up a four-for against Pune but his superb efforts went down the drain as his team fell short by 12 runs. Nevertheless, Kaul has been impressive in all his appearances this season. He is very much capable of pulling off a punt performance against the table toppers.
