Robin Uthappa CricTracker

There are unlucky seasons for certain teams, there are seasons where they can’t get the finishing act right, there are poor seasons and then there are seasons like the one Royal Challengers Bangalore are having. Touted as the front-runner for the IPL crown at the beginning of the season, the season had the worst possible build-up for the Bengaluru side.

Most of the stars were either ruled out or were set to miss a part of the season and what followed is a forgettable season so far. The team which brought the nadir by bundling them for just 49 runs will again be up against them at their home and it will be final chance for them to salvage some pride and bow out with their heads held high.

As RCB looks to find out the solution to their problems, let’s have a look at top fantasy picks for the game.

Top Fantasy Picks

Top Batsman : Robin Utthappa (KKR)

The wikctekeeper-batsman has been phenomenal with the bat this season and has been scoring runs at will. He has been consistent throughout and scoring them at a decent strike rate, the perfect ingredients that you require for your fantasy team. Add to that his ability to affect stumpings and take catches behind the stumps. That makes him our top fantasy pick among batsmen.

Top Bowler : Yuzavendra Chahal (RCB)

One of the rare bright spots in an otherwise dull season for the Bengaluru-based outfit has been the leg-spin of Yuzavendra Chahal. The youngster has been sensational with the ball except in a few matches and that makes him a good fantasy player. His wicket-taking ability has tempted us to select him as the top fantasy pick among the bowlers.

Top All-Rounder : Pawan Negi (RCB)

Another story of strong individual resurrection this season. After underperforming under the pressure of a high price tag last season, Negi has been very good this season both with bat and ball. It is an irony that his strong performances have not been able to give his team victories. However, in fantasy leagues, individual performances matter and that makes him our top all-rounder for the game.

Top Punt Player : Kuldeep Yadav (KKR)

The chinaman bowler has been good this season and has taken wickets for his captain whenever called upon. His variations have outfoxed some of the best batsmen in business and that speaks highly about his abilities. His knack for taking key wickets makes him our top punt player for the game.

With IPL having reached its business end, the teams which have already been eliminated are the most dangerous ones in most of the cases. So, KKR have to be careful else the world is well aware what RCB can do on their day.
