Chelsea ready to beat Manchester United in bidding war for Inter player

The Sun writes that in April, Perisic was the man Jose Mourinho wanted to snap in the summer for £50 million to rebuild his squad. However, it now appears as if Chelsea are in pole position to land the Croatian international.

Perisic can play as an attacking midfielder as well as a winger which will boost Chelsea’s options up front. With Perisic oldest amongst the attacking trio which includes Icardi and Kondogbia, they would look to cash in on the 28-year-old who is entertaining a bid of £55 million from the Blues.

Liverpool step ahead of Manchester United as they lead race to sign 24-year-old defender

Liverpool are leading the race to land Burnley defender Michael Keane for £30 million in a summer deal, reports The Sun. The defender was said to be heading to Everton, with Manchester United also in the ranks before Jurgen Klopp joined the race in the last few days.

Liverpool would be ideal for Keane as Klopp will make him the rock of the defence and game time will also be guaranteed.

 

Arsenal ace could be heading to China

According to the Daily Star, Jack Wilshere could be open to a mega-money move to China in the summer. The 25-year-old currently on loan at Bournemouth is to hold talks with Arsene Wenger this week to make a decision regarding his future.

His injury prone career has forced clubs across the Premier League not show interest in him, the report adds in his meeting with Wenger he is set to prove he has grown up and has changed his bad boy behaviour and settled down with fiancée Andriane. 

 

Zlatan Ibrahimovic bows out of Old Trafford

Zlatan Ibrahimovic accepts that his Manchester United playing days are over and is targeting a return to football with the Major League Soccer when he returns to action, reports The Mirror.

The striker has ruptured his anterior and posterior cruciate knee ligaments and faces time out from between nine to twelve months. Zlatan scored 28 goals for Manchester United in all competitions and believes his playing days are not yet over. However, he has always stated he would end his glittering career in America and received offers from several clubs including new side Los Angeles FC.

 

 

 

Chelsea face double transfer swoop from the Cherries

Bournemouth are confident of completing a double transfer in the summer for Chelsea defender Nathan Ake and second-choice goalkeeper Asmir Begovic for a fee said to be around £25 million, reports The Mirror.

Ake has had a loan spell with the Cherries, playing ten games before being recalled by Chelsea in January, since then his game time at Chelsea has been limited to just three cup appearances.

Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe made a bid for Begovic in January for £10 only to be turned down by the Blues, however this time around Begovic is keen to quit the club due to the limited game time offered to him at the club.

 

Financial agreement between Manchester United and Antoine Griezmann

Manchester United and Antoine Griezmann have come to an agreement reports agent Vincent Rodriguez via his Twitter account. The Frenchman has a buyout clause of £84 million attached to his Atletico contract and it would be interesting to see Manchester United spend big again.

He continues to be of interest to a host of clubs including Real Madrid and PSG.
