IPL 10: RCB vs SRH – Match Preview, Fantasy Picks and TV Guide

Following the most humiliating defeat against Kolkata Knight Riders on Sunday, Royal Challengers need something miraculous to stay alive the tenth season of the Indian Premier League. They will play host to defending champions Sunrisers Hyderabad on Tuesday at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore.

Chasing a mediocre target of just 132, nothing went right for RCB. They lost their skipper for a Golden Duck and that triggered the worst ever batting collapse in the history of the IPL, getting bowled out for just 49. RCB have 4 points from 7 games and to make it to the Top 4, they have to win at least 6 out of the 7 games to ensure that the NRR isn’t detrimental to their chances.

Sunrisers Hyderabad are also coming here on the back of a defeat. They were hammered by MS Dhoni who single handedly took his side to what seemed like an improbable win on Saturday at Pune. SRH will be hoping that they can leave the defeat behind and get back to winning ways. David Warner has a great record against RCB, scoring 7 fifties against them in their last 8 meetings. He will be hoping that he can continue his form in this match as well and don the Orange Cap.

In the last meeting between the two teams, the season opener of this year, Sunrisers won the game quite convincingly by 35 runs.

Fantasy Pick Batsman: David Warner

With 2 half centuries in 7 innings, Warner is second in the race in the tournament's highest run scorer of the season. He has scored 282 runs and gives SRH the push any team requires during the Powerplay overs with accelerated scoring and attacking shots.

Fantasy Pick Bowler: Bhuvaneshwar Kumar

Kumar has scalped 16 wickets in just 7 matches to hold the Purple Cap. He has an impressive strike rate of 10.5 and a miserly economy of 6.28. He swings the ball both ways and gets breakthroughs to inhibit the opposition’s scoring. Also, in the Powerplay overs, it becomes almost impossible for the batsmen to score against him, ensuring that pressure is created on the batsmen in the middle overs.

Fantasy Pick All-Rounder: Moises Henriques

He has scored 193 runs with 2 fifties in the tournament. With the ball, though he has just one wicket to his name, he has bowled at a good economy. Henriques’s ability to score quick runs and also take wickets makes him a vital cog in the side.

Punt Player: Pawan Negi

He has proven to be quite effective on slower tracks with this slow left-arm spin. With the Bangalore pitch having slowed down quite considerably this season, he can be even further more useful and effective.

TV Guide:

The match starts at 8:00 PM IST with viewers having the option of watching it live in either Set Max (Hindi) or Sony Six HD (English). Live streaming can also be watched on
