FYS STAT ATTACK – IPL 2017 – Vintage Mahi back to win the game for RPS

MS Dhoni

Before today's game former RPS captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni was bearing the brunt for his poor performance in IPL 2017. However, Dhoni silenced all his critics today as he rolled back the years and played a classic 'Mahi' innings.

Dhoni played a knock of 61* of 34 balls, and his innings included five 4's and three 6's. Not to take away anything from young Rahul Tripathi who set the base for the chase as he scored a quick fire 59. RPS ended the match winning it by six wickets.

Many new records were set and old ones broken as RPS chased down the total of the last ball of their innings. Here is a list of the significant milestones from this game we'll have a look at few of those:

– At 17 years, 199 days, Washington Sundar became the 3rd youngest to appear in IPL after Sarfaraz Khan (17y, 117d) & Pradeep Sangwan (17y, 179d).
