John Terry set to be recalled to starting XI

According to The Sun, John Terry could land a starting place in Chelsea's line-up for the FA Cup semi-final following Gary Cahill's mystery illness  Cahill featured in Sunday’s defeat to Manchester United but since then has complained of rising temperatures and unless a miracle takes place he will be out for the clash against Spurs.

 

 

Kurt Zouma and Nathan Ake are on standby but John Terry is said to be the preferred choice as he looks to pull down the curtain on his career at Stamford Bridge in dramatic fashion.

 

 Real Madrid rejects €50 million Liverpool bid for 21-year-old 

Liverpool have had a €50 million bid rejected by Real Madrid for Marco Asensio, reports the AS. The 21-year-old is a major part of Zidane’s plan as the Spanish club look to keep hold of the player who scored the final goal in Real Madrid’s 4-2 win over Bayern Munich, the report further suggests Asensio is happy at the club and isn’t considering moving anytime soon.

 

Real Madrid eye Monaco starlet

Spanish newspaper Don Balon writes Real Madrid have an eye for French forward Kylian Mbappe who is said to take the place of Alvaro Morata who is strongly being linked with a move to Chelsea.

Mbappe has been pivotal for Monaco this season and could potentially face Real Madrid in the semi-final if they are drawn together, Manchester United is also an option for the forward as Jose Mourinho looks to add ammunition his squad.

Zidane is also looking at other options in Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Paulo Dybala.

 

 

Chinese Super League club continue pursuit of Premier League striker

According to Sky Sources, Tianjin Quanjian are working on a deal to land Chelsea striker Diego Costa when the transfer window re-opens on the 19th of June. Tianjin are willing to offer Costa wages of £650,000-a-week after taxes making him the highest paid player in the world, he currently earns in the region of £150,000-a-week at Chelsea and his contract runs until the summer of 2019.

He had an amazing start to the season but hasn’t done as well in the business end of it, and Chelsea will be adamant to hold onto his services as he is always going to be a threat to any opposition.
