IPL 10: RPS vs SRH – Match Preview, Fantasy Picks and TV Guide

Rising Pune Supergiants will play host to Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune this Saturday afternoon. Both the teams are coming on the back of wins and will be playing to their full potential to keep the winning momentum alive.

RPS comfortably defeated RCB at Bangalore on Sunday while defending 161/8, a total that can be called modest at Bangalore. Ben Stokes and Shardul Thakur struck at crucial moments and ensured that the hosts were never in the chase. Their batting has been a matter of concern as RPS havn't seen a good individual performance from their star batsmen in a while. After a rest of almost a week, the team will be pumped up to perform!

Thanks to a dazzling innings by the Kiwi skipper Kane Williamson, the Sunrisers Hyderabad secured a 15-run win against Delhi Daredevils on Wednesday. Their bowling has been effective as usual and they are sitting quite happily at the third position on the points table. They will be looking to improve on their performance and move higher on the table.

Fantasy Pick Batsman: David Warner

The skipper has led his team from the front with two half-centuries in 6 games. A strong contender for the prestigious Orange Cap, David Warner is the aggressor that every team needs at the top of their batting order. He plays his shots carefully yet can be brutal on the opposition bowlers, decimating them to no ends!

Fantasy Pick Bowler: Bhuvaneshwar Kumar

15 wickets at a parsimonious economy of 5.7 in 6 games with a best of 5/19 makes Bhuvi the best bowler of the season so far. He doesn’t let the runs flow in the initial stages of the innings and scalps wickets at regular intervals to control the run-rate in the slog overs as well. The Purple Cap winner from IPL 2016 has been donning it this year as well as he continues to be the go-to bowler for his captain.

Fantasy Pick All-Rounder: Ben Stokes

The English all-rounder was RPS’s lynchpin with the ball against RCB as he not only picked three wickets, but he also was economical giving away just 18 runs in 4 overs. He has played cameos with the bat for RPS so far and a longer innings that will build the team’s score is definitely on the cards.

Punt Player: Manoj Tiwary

A common name in the domestic circuit of Indian Cricket, Manoj Tiwary hasn’t created much of an image for himself in IPL, in spite of playing all 10 seasons. He played a very important role against RCB, where he plundered 27 runs off just 11 balls to take his team’s score beyond the 150 mark. Tiwary is a talented batsman who can prove to be the trump card for his side.
