Sunrisers Hyderabad defeated the Kings XI Punjab by 5 runs in the thrilling IPL encounter at Hyderabad. Manan Vohra played a gem of an innings for Punjab but could not take his side over the line. Bhuvneshwar Kumar picked up a five-wicket haul to hand his side the victory.
Here we look at the Heroes and Zeroes from Sunrisers Hyderabad vs. Kings XI Punjab:
David Warner reaches 50 off 45 balls – that is SLOWEST 50 of his T20 career. Previous: 44 balls for DD vs DC, Delhi, 2011. #IPL

The Australian swashbuckling opener finally converted one of his starts as he scored a smooth 70 to guide his side to a total of 159. Warner watched along as wickets kept tumbling at the other end but he kept his calm and added crucial runs for the Sunrisers.
Vohra’s 95 (50) is one of the all-time great IPL innings. He scored at 11.40 RPO on a pitch where everyone else scored at 6.41 RPO. #IPL

Manan Vohra was absolutely sensational as he single handedly took his team close to victory. The opener played probably the best innings of IPL10 as he turned the game on his head, but could not get the better of Bhuvneshwar as he perished in the penultimate over. He was unlucky to be on the losing side as he played one of the finer innings of his career.
These are not dead yorkers from Bhuvi. Ball still travelling when it hits the stumps/foot. Serious gas behind them.

"Bhuvi" as he is fondly called had another great game as he picked up two big wickets in his first two overs and broke the spine of KXIP's batting lineup. He followed that up with a display of insanely good death bowling and picked up a 5-wicket haul. He also picked up the wicket of Manan Vohra who was having a blinder. Bhuvneshwar is the current Purple Cap holder in IPL10 with 15 wickets.
The southpaw has had a few starts in this tournament but has failed to capitalise. Dhawan got out cheaply in this game as well as he was caught behind off the bowling of Mohit Sharma for just 15. Dhawan has been in and out of the Indian side and needs to make a mark if he is to get selected for the Champions Trophy, but such performances would not help his chances one bit.
When Dhawan makes 50 runs.
1's – 20
2's – 5
4's – 2
6's – 2
Dropped catches- 6
Missed runouts- 3
Bhagwan ki krupa- 4

The South African batsman has had a tournament to forget so far as he has struggled to make an impact in IPL10. Miller is rated extremely highly by the Punjab franchise and has won lots of games for them, but his performances so far have not done justice to his talent. Miller played a really poor shot to get out and that isn't expected from a player of his quality and experience. Miller needs to start performing or risk facing the axe.
Highest score by opener with his partner out for duck in IPL:
119 Sehwag, 0 Finch, 2011
108 de Kock, 0 Iyer, 2016
95 VOHRA, 0 Amla, TODAY

South African Hashim Amla has been tasked with providing good starts to Punjab at the top of the order in the absence of Murli Vijay, but has faltered so far. While he has looked in good touch, he hasn't been able to convert his starts into big scores, something which is extremely vital in T20s. Amla got out for a first ball duck in this game and more is expected from a batsman of his calibre. Punjab are struggling in the tournament and their best players need to step up to the plate.
