The Mirror writes, Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has been put on red alert after Joshua Kimmich expressed his unhappiness at the lack of game time offered to him by Bayern Munich. Guardiola is expected to overhaul his squad in the summer, and the German international could be amongst his prime targets as he looks at fresh options in midfield. The Spaniard described the German international as a player who has “got absolutely everything” to be a world star.
Jack Wilshere focused on current task
Jack Wilshere has put aside his Arsenal future and is focusing on his current task which involves keeping Bournemouth in the League, reports The Mirror. Also, he expressed his desire to earn a starting place at Bournemouth before deciding on his uncertain Arsenal future.
Jack Wilshere said, “But my main concern at the moment is trying to keep Bournemouth in this league because no matter what happens next year if I’m here if I’m not if I’m at Arsenal – whatever – you know no one wants a relegation next to their name.”
Ozil’s Arsenal future not dependent on Arsene Wenger
Arsenal have received the much-needed boost regarding Ozil’s future even though contract talks continue to stall, reports the Daily Mail. The German playmaker is said to run into the final 12 months of his contract with talks still being held over his contract, making him the highest-paid player at the club with wages at £200,000-a-week.
Ozil was quoted saying “Arsene Wenger was one of the main reasons I joined Arsenal. But I know that sometimes things go very fast in football and that you can never plan something.”

The Swiss international has failed to find the form he possessed with Borussia Monchengladbach and has come under criticism by Arsenal boss for his disciplinary problems seeing him being sent off a couple of times for reckless challenges.

According to The Sun, Arsenal and Chelsea are said to battle it out for Wolves’ £20miilion-rated winger Helder Costa. The Portuguese has caught the eye of Antonio Conte since both sides met in the FA Cup and Italian has sent scouts to track the 23-year-old. Arsenal are also said to be interested in the player as they sent spies to witness the player in action against Rotherham.
