LIVERPOOL VS BURNLEY
Burnley has seen a marked improvement in their away form lately and were a little unlucky the other day when they lost 3-2 to a late goal at Swansea. The Reds, in the past, have struggled to break down ultra-defensive sides and have also proved to be susceptible to teams who play on the counter-attack. Burnley tick both boxes, but it would be a little too much to expect a result against Liverpool who put in a much-improved display against Arsenal last weekend and will be needing nothing less than a victory to stay in the race for the Top 4.
Prediction: Liverpool 2-0 Burnley
EVERTON VS WEST BROMWICH
Both sides come into the game on the back of a defeat. West Brom had a disappointing collapse at Crystal Palace while a spirited Everton performance was seen off by Tottenham. Everton will be looking to bounce off from the loss and to continue their excellent record at home where they are unbeaten this year. But West Brom are a strong unit, comfortable at playing without the ball and capable of a consistent aerial threat throughout the game.
Prediction: Everton 1-0 West Bromwich Albion
BOURNEMOUTH VS WEST HAM
After a drab loss to Chelsea at home, Bilic's side will be looking to return to winning ways with a trip to the South Coast where they face a Bournemouth side which is winless in 2017. But Bournemouth can’t afford to lose any more points and will be arriving with the added motivation having held Manchester United to a draw at Old Trafford despite playing with 10-men for much of the second half.
Prediction: Bournemouth 1-3 West Ham
SWANSEA CITY VS HULL CITY
The tale of the two cities has been remarkably similar this season. At one point, both sides seemed to ride down a spiral but managerial changes around Christmas have brought a significant turnaround in their results.
Swansea (8-3-16) have more than doubled their points tally inside two profitable months after racking up five wins in their last eight games, with only Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City taking points off the Welsh side since the turn of the year. Meanwhile, Hull are unbeaten in six home games in all competitions but a string of injuries have hindered Hull's improvement recently with just one point coming from the last three league games. Swansea looks the favourite to emerge victorious from this fixture, and a win could see them cut adrift from the relegation battle.
