Maxwell is an important member of KXIP and has been with the since 2014 after arriving from Mumbai Indians. For the last few seasons, KXIP has been heavily dependent on Maxwell and now making him the captain of the team, gives added responsibility to his shoulders.
It may be a surprise for many of the Punjab supporters as Murali Vijay who was chosen to lead the side in the latter part of the 2016 campaign, did a decent job. All eyes will be on Maxi to change the fortunes of the KXIP in IPL10.
