Sports stars celebrate Women’s Day on Twitter!

International Women’s Day is globally celebrated on 8th March around the world. The day celebrates the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women.


The International Women’s Day 2017 once again has seen a lot of wishes pouring in from various corners of the sporting fraternity. Team India completed a sensational victory over Australia in the second Test match at M. Chinnaswamy, Bengaluru by 75 runs. With this win, India has levelled the four-match series 1-1.


Once again leading from the front, India cricket team skipper Virat Kohli started the day by expressing his love and respect for all the women in the world and shared an Instagram post. ‘God of Cricket’ Sachin Tendulkar, Turbanator Harbhajan Singh,  out of favour opener Gautam Gambhir, Natwest final hero Mohammad Kaif also joined Kohli and expressed their gratitude towards God’s beautiful creation.
