According to The Express, Pep Guardiola is ready to launch a £40 million bid for Juventus left-back Alex Sandro in the summer. Pep Guardiola has been interested in the Brazilian left-back since his time at Bayern Munich and is keen to revive it and bring him to the Etihad. Guardiola is looking to rebuild his ageing squad and the 25-year-old could definitely bolster his defensive options.

Gareth Southgate has told Joe Hart he remains England’s first choice goalkeeper during his trip to Turin, reports The Mirror. Southgate has watched all the DVD's from Joe Hart’s games in Italy and has continued to put his faith in the keeper, who was snubbed by Manchester City boss Guardiola which saw him head out on loan to Torino at the start of the season. Joe Hart is a target for many Premier League clubs and could see a return to England with Liverpool keen on signing him.

William Carvalho will solely cost £60 million as Guardiola looks to bring in reinforcements to his midfield and strengthen his squad them potential title contenders once again.
