A settled and fearless team under the leadership of a dynamic captain in Virat Kohli and a talismanic coach in Anil Kumble, the Indian juggernaut at the moment seems to be just steamrolling oppositions in all formats.

Out of mix for two years, Gambhir returned to the India fold in late 2016, but it lasted for only for two tests. A half century and a duck with two scores of 29, was all Gambhir could manage before he was back to playing domestic cricket.
However, at 35 years of age, Gambhir refuses to give up. He has scored 253 runs in his last six T20 innings, a sign which clearly indicates Gambhir is far from finished. If his willow spits fire once again in the IPL, then who knows – maybe we will witness Gambhir once again in the Indian colors.
