Day 1 of the first test between India and Australia witnessed a top-notch battle between the bat and ball. However, was it Wriddhiman Saha’s glove work behind the stumps that stole the show.
Umesh Yadav, who was constantly clocking a bowling speed above 140 kmph, bowled a delivery outside the off-stump which was slashed hard and edged by Australian No.9 Steve O’Keefe only to see a flying-Saha collect the blazing cherry behind him with astonishing agility.
Twitter could not stop praising the Bengal cricketer, who according to many is the best wicketkeeper in the country. But first, catch a glimpse of Saha’s stupendous catch:
