Sri Lankan pacer Lasith Malinga has made a thumping return to world cricket in a warmup match against Prime Minister's XI at Manuka Oval in Canberra.
Sri Lanka are set to play three-match T20I series against Australia starting from 17th February in Melbourne. The 33-year-old fast bowler has out of action since last year's T20 World Cup with a sore knee.
Known for his deadly in-swinging yorkers, 'Slinga' Malinga once again showed his penchant in the practice match which certainly would have given his fans some hope ahead of his return in the national colours.
