Follow Your Sport had previously reported that Kurt Angle is set to headline the hall of fame class of 2017 to be held later this year. This generated a lot of speculation about his possible return to the WWE.
Many fans had their fingers crossed when he pulled out of an independent show to be held just one day before Royal Rumble hoping that he would make an appearance in the Road to Wrestlemania Event.
That failed to materialize. However, Kurt Angle has further fueled rumours by recently revealing who he would like to face if he did make a return to WWE.
"I would love to go on the grand stage with AJ (Styles) one day. Seth Rollins, I like Roman Reigns a lot. I think he was forced a little bit, and that's why fans are rejecting him, but he's kind of a kid. I love Cesaro, Kevin Owens, Rusev, there's a lot of great talent right now. I'd say more right now than there were 10 years ago, around 2007 – 2008."
Also, In a recent conversation with Busted Open Radio, former WWE and TNA superstar Kurt Angle revealed that he is still not done with wrestling and thinks that he may do it for the WWE.

“I'm not done. Whether I do something with WWE or not, I'm not done wrestling. I will be soon, I just don't feel like I got the proper goodbye yet. Hopefully, it will come down the road soon. … I'm not at liberty to talk about it but I can seriously be honest right now and say that Triple H and I did not have a discussion about wrestling after WrestleMania yet. But do I think it will happen? Yes. Do I know for sure? No.”
Kurt Angle discussing a possible return to the WWE so openly proves the age old adage that there is no smoke without a fire. Let’s hope we get the former WWE superstar inside the ring soon.
